Prepare for a Disaster:
Get ‘Good and Ready’ Workshop
Emergencies and natural disasters can happen anytime, anywhere in New Zealand—often without warning. And here in Queenstown, with our proximity to a major fault line, it’s not a matter of if, but when.
In this one-hour workshop, you’ll learn how to stay safe, informed, and connected when disaster strikes.
Facilitated by the New Zealand Red Cross, this interactive session will cover practical tips on what to do before, during, and after an emergency, including how to prepare your household and create a plan.
This session is especially designed to support migrants, newcomers, and multicultural communities in the Queenstown Lakes region, but everyone is welcome!
Come along, enjoy some light refreshments, and leave feeling a little more ready for anything.
