Honoured to Join the Sri Lankan Community for Their 2025 Annual General Gathering
Lakes Multicultural Collective Ops Manager Liz joined the Sri Lankan Association Queenstown as Chief Guest for their 2025 Annual General Gathering. From the lighting of the traditional oil lamp to heartfelt performances and leadership transitions, it was a celebration of culture, connection, and belonging.
A Morning of Connection with Hon. Mark Mitchell and MP Joseph Mooney
Representatives from Queenstown’s diverse ethnic communities came together for a meaningful kōrero with Hon. Mark Mitchell, Minister for Ethnic Communities, and local MP Joseph Mooney. Over shared stories, warm welcomes, and cups of tea, this gathering reminded us of the strength found in community-led mahi — and the value of being seen, heard, and supported.
